Dream Catchers

I see them all the time in Oklahoma. They are called "Dream Catchers". It is an American Indian creation. They generally are made of a round wooden frame with string crisscrossing the inside of the circle. I often see them hanging from people's rear view mirrors. When I was a youth pastor I took my youth on trips to help them see bigger and better youth ministries. I called them "Dream Catching" Trips. Julie and I are visiting the Ark Church. We are getting an all access look at the inside of this church and how it works. Their growth has been awesome (from 24 to 3000 in thirteen years). The building is awesome. The people are awesome. We are fortunate to be able to get this peak. As always, I feel like I am trying to take a drink from a fire hydrant. The information and principles that we are trying to take in during a short period of time is difficult at best. Nonetheless, I love being stretched. Taking dream catching trips like this is an essential part of growth!

Have you gone anywhere that causes you to dream?
